Designed for college students, this 30-minute introductory training unpacks one counseling-related problem, equipping the students with tools and resources to respond to it.
Leader Training
This two-hour training is designed for ministry leaders to receive a counselor's introduction, tools, and resources for navigating a specific counseling-related problem that they might encounter in their ministry.

30-minute "First Aid" Training
Who
This training is designed for college students, but may be adapted to other groups. This brief, introductory training is best suited for medium to large sized groups, such as groups around 10-50 people.
What
This training is a lecture-style presentation, introducing a counseling-related topic of the ministry's choosing. Topics vary according to the needs of the group. Sample subjects include "anxiety," "decision making," or "navigating conflict." Some take-home resources will be provided.
Why
The benefit of this training is that it addresses a unique specific need of the group, provides biblical resources, supports the ministry's efforts to disciple people through all of life, and creates connections for students looking for Christ-centered counseling. The short, 30-minute design allows for easy integration into regular gatherings.
Where
Depending on the location, we may be able to do the training in-person. This can take place at your ministry's regular meeting place. Trainings are also available virtually, via Zoom.
Cost
The cost of this training is $100. The price includes coordinating with the ministry, set-up time, attendance at the event, the 30 minute presentation, and some hand-out resources.

2-hour Leader Training
Who
This training is designed for lay and professional ministry leaders to gain further training and resources for a counseling-related topic. This training is best suited for small to medium sized groups between 5-30 people.
What
This training is a 2-hour, collaborative lecture-style presentation, exploring a counseling-related topic of the ministry's choosing for the purpose of further equipping the leaders. Topics vary according to the needs of the group. Sample subjects include "counseling tools," "premarital counseling in the church" or "abuse awareness and response." Hand-outs and additional resources are included.
Why
The purpose of this training is to adequately equip the group to handle a particular counseling-related situation of the group's choice. We will identify the subject on a theoretical level, then spend most of the time focusing on practical tools, resources, and skills.
Where
Depending on the location, we may be able to do the training in-person. This can take place at your ministry's regular meeting place or if the group is smaller, in a public place such as a coffee shop. This training is also available virtually, via Zoom.
Cost
The cost of this training is $250. The price includes coordinating with the ministry, set-up time, the 2-hour collaborative presentation, and some hand-out resources.

3-hour Workshop
Who
This workshop is designed for anyone looking to gain further training and resources for a specific counseling-related topic. This training is best suited for medium to large groups between 15-50 people.
What
This 3-hour workshop is an interactive, collaborative seminar, exploring a counseling-related topic of the ministry's choosing. Sample topics include, "domestic abuse care team training," "premarital counseling," or "being a peacemaker in the church."
Why
The purpose of this training is to thoroughly equip the group to handle a particular counseling-related situation of the group's choice.
For example, if a church is looking to build support teams to care for couples experiencing domestic abuse, the goal is that the church members who attend would leave with a clear understanding of domestic abuse, what roles are needed in church care, how to perform those roles effectively, and what other resources they can go to for help.
Where
Depending on the location, we may be able to do the training in-person. This can take place at your ministry's regular meeting place or in a meeting/conference room. This workshop is also available virtually.
Cost
The cost of this training is $300. The price includes coordinating with the ministry, set-up time, the 3-hour collaborative presentation, and some hand-out resources.
